  • We offer a low cost, high value, membership audit to Associations, Institutions and Chambers of Commerce.
  • Benchmarking and preparation of comparative data is an important part of our work.

Metra Martech has the expertise derived from extensive project work to devise penetrating questionnaires, and the resources including the specialist software to make quantitative analyses and effective presentations.

We have the experience to draw out and communicate key insights - and as a result offer high quality research and a flexible approach. We aim to be swift, efficient and cost effective.

Methods: Database search (Metra and on-line), telephone and face-to-face interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis and trend forecasts. Strengthening Membership

In these times of change most associations now poll their members regularly. Metra Martech the business and industry researchers offer a Membership Audit Scheme that uses their market research, analysis and sector skills and, for cost effectiveness, your internal distribution system.

Strong membership depends on the real benefits that you offer. Do your members and potential members consider that:

  • you are addressing their current issues
  • you are giving good value for money
  • there are other bodies and interest groups which offer more?

You know how many members you have but do you know how your membership is changing and how members' profiles compare with others who could become members:

  • their age profile (individuals) or size (corporate)
  • their geographic profile,
  • why some of them have left you, why some potential members are not joining

The Audit Scheme involves:

  • establishing existing members' views on the value of your service, new needs, likes and dislikes
  • asking potential members what they need, why they have not joined you, what other bodies they have joined, how aware they are of you
  • exploration of your membership structure and its comparison with the overall sector structure. What neglected opportunities are there in age, size, region, sector, activity etc?

The resulting report may be an endorsement of your present administration but will certainly alert you to changes in members' needs that will help you to reinforce your services.
