   • to identify trends (Marshalling Yards, have changed greatly in the past few years in number, size and efficiency).
   • to find out from decision takers what were their plans and their reactions to a UK supplier.
     
     
2. To investigate the trends in Payment Systems in Mass Transit situations including tokens, through to no-charge systems.
   
   
3. Development of the background to tendering practices in world markets, for large scale electrification.
